Meet Dee Everson
Dee Everson is a Christian artist and author who loves to experiment with a variety of textures, colors and mediums in her works. She loves the synergy that is created when different mediums come together to form something unique and special. Through the years, these creative visual lessons have taught her a great deal about growing her faith in Jesus. As a result, Dee loves leading others through creative projects that are aimed to teach them about Jesus as well. As part of her spiritual journey, Dee has developed a strong love for mosaics and has explored all kinds of mediums, but finds herself most enamored by colored glass. She just loves seeing mosaic art come alive - the beauty of the glass along with its different textures, transparent qualities, and intense colors makes each one a unique masterpiece.
It’s Dee’s love of Jesus, mosaics, and stained glass that inspired her to develop the curriculum for Peace by Piece, a Mosaic Bible Study where women explore how their relationship with Jesus leads to a discovery of God’s intentional design for their own lives. In Peace by Piece, ladies create their own mosaic charger plate symbolizing their relationship with the Lord throughout an 8-week study.
Dee partnered with long-time friend and Bible teacher Jenny Spontak to co-author the Peace by Piece Study Workbook and together, they lead teams offering creative ministry events designed to infuse women’s lives with healing, hope and color. Dee lives in Homer Glen, IL, a southwest suburb of Chicago with her husband. She is also the proud mother of three adult children and recently became a grandmother.
